CooProg workshop

Since 2019, Onda has been offering financial support for the touring of international artists in France, in order to encourage cooperation between French programmers with the aim of increasing the visibility of international projects, to extend the lifespans of productions and to offer audiences the vitality of an aesthetic diversity open to the world.

These unique proposals are selected following a call for proposals to Onda's partners (venues and festivals) and are presented at the CooProg workshops. Organized by Onda, these workshops enable French-based programmers to share information about these international projects, with a view to involving other partners in the tour.

The international projects selected all benefit from automatic financial support for touring costs in France over two seasons. Support for French subtitling (or translation) may also be granted.

35 projects are currently supported. A seventh CooProg workshop was organized during the International encounter on October 13th in Bordeaux. 7 new projects from Hungary, Canada, Japan, Palestine, Burkina Faso, United-Kingdom and Poland, proposed by our partners and which will tour in France, were selected and will be supported during the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 seasons:

- Figuring Age, Boglárka Börcsök / Andreas Bolm (Hungary)

- Terre Ceinte, Aristide Tarnagda (Burkina Faso)

- Nigamon/Tunai, Émilie Monnet & Waira Nina Jacanamijoy (Canada/Quebec)

- Yoroboshi, Satoko Ichihara (Japan)
